Oil Rig Jobs

Je've heard that the jobs of team/sands of oil close in early the spring while the ground thaws. They are when the safeguard and run? Do they work by the summer, or the expectation until the fall when the ground begins freezing on again?

Question, I guess lives you on to Canada somewhere.. where they do this. It must does with can transport equipment to rigsites... and until the ground again is frozen, the work is closed.
